Galaxy 15 stopped responding to ground controllers on April 5

By Peter B. de Selding

updated 2:39 p.m. ET May 3, 2010//

PARIS – An adrift Intelsat satellite that stopped communicating with its ground controllers last month remains out of control and has begun moving eastward along the geostationary arc, raising the threat of interference with other satellites in its path, Intelsat and other industry officials said.

In what industry officials called an unprecedented event, Intelsat’s Galaxy 15 communications satellite has remained fully “on,” with its C-band telecommunications payload still functioning even as it has left its assigned orbital slot of 133 degrees west longitude 36,000 kilometers over the equator.

Galaxy 15 stopped responding to ground controllers on April 5. The satellite’s manufacturer, Orbital Sciences Corp. of Virginia, says an intense solar storm in early April may be to blame. It was launched into space in 2005.

A visit to Achak Cafe

Open since the years 1500 a visit to Achak Cafe around the Great Lakes of  North East America where we go to be foretold of stressfull conditions to come is quite an experience for a Snowy Owl who turns his back to Storms and let the Wind built his Snow Nest.

At the entrance of Achak Cafe there is a huge rock into wich is carved what First Nations  call Ojibwa Achak, it is a human holding with his two hands above his head the end tail of a Tornado.

Achak Cafe is  seldomly opened and we Gather there on a kind of Invitation.

I got here from a Swift invitation call “Cruising with 1816″.

I remember too well what this meant for the Harvest of Fall, the lack of Food  for Humans and Animals, Hunger Time.

Achak came forth and started to speak, people have always said that Hearing Achak speaking makes one’s dizzy.  It is believed that it is a side effect of the Tornado that he still hold with his bare hands above his Head.

Achak said;

I have reach out to you my Sisters and Brothers because there are a lot of new stuff lately in the Tornado, mainly this Economic depression and this H1N1 swine flu virus but more stuff  keeps incoming.

Brother Sun as been introspective for over a year in a half now and the Global Temperature is  dropping dramatically lately and what we Redoubt happened.

Mother Earth reached out for Brother Sun and has put blankets of volcanic ashes in the atmosphere from Russia,  Alaska and Chile to call Him with smoke signs.

So lets prepare there will be less food and in contempary terms it will be more  expensive, act now accordingly, Life is shortening Night and Day, lets set our Affairs Right.

The Goal for all of us is to get prepared for the rapid  incoming of Fall and Winter.

On April 5 Wikileaks wants to expose a video showing an attack by

The following is a translation from Dutch:

Employees of whistleblower site Wikileaks claim to be followed and halted by employees of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Icelandic authorities.

On April 5 Wikileaks wants to expose a video showing an attack by the U.S. Air Force at a meeting of the National Press Club in Washington.

The staff of the site also claim to posses information about CIA aircrafts as supporting evidence.

On Twitter Wikileaks claims to be obstructed regarding the upcoming screening. Employees would be under surveilance by the U.S. and Icelandic authorities.

During which photos and videos are taken of the employees, an employee had been arrested and held for 22 hours trying to get to the video. Employees express on Twitter concern: “If anything happens to us, it is about the video of April 5″.

The Web site Wikileaks is very controversial, because it reveals the documents of governments and companies with scandals. Last year the site was ordered by a U.S. court to be closed for ten days, because the Swiss bank Julius Baer did not want to read about it’s money laundering practices in the Cayman Islands online.

The involvement of Iceland in this story has to do with the fact that the site is trying to go there to escape. Currently they are working on a number of legislative amendments, which should provide legal protection for journalists and whistleblowers. This ‘Icelandic Modern Media Initiative’, should make the country attractive to the establish data centers.

Wikileaks currently faces major financial problems and is trying to secure it’s existence by asking for donations.

Not. One. Word.

So you see, a lot is going on.

I still cross my fingers that there wont be a volcano that will send us ashes that will make our nest Fall, Winter and Spring even coldier.  It has so much impact on pandemics, historically speaking.

The last Snowy Owl Diary I have found with a visit to the Boat Pitch Cafe was in 1816, the year without summer.

Wish I have more time to share.

Now the Earth is sliding 30 degrees West.
